What Learners Say

SK

Siriporn Kanchanawat

Bangkok · Stage 01

"I had tried two other online Python courses before and dropped out of both within three weeks. The difference with Synaptiq was that I never felt confused about what I was supposed to be doing next. The mentor feedback was also more useful than I expected — actual comments on my code, not just a pass or fail."

PT

Prawit Thongsuk

Chiang Mai · Stage 02

"The hands-on course is genuinely challenging, which I appreciated. The build sessions forced me to work through problems rather than just watch someone else do them. My capstone project — a small image classifier — is something I am actually using now. The community Slack was helpful but could be more active outside Bangkok time zones."

Natchaya Wongdee

Bangkok · Stage 03

"Six months is a long time, and there were moments around month four where I was tired. Having a regular mentor check-in meant I did not quietly fall behind — someone noticed when my submissions slowed down and reached out. I finished with three portfolio projects and got a new role shortly after completing the programme."

Anuchit Kamolpat

Bangkok · Stage 01 → 02

"I went through Stage 01 and then straight into Stage 02. The transition was natural — nothing in Stage 02 assumed knowledge that Stage 01 had not covered. The pricing for both stages was fair. I would have liked slightly more advanced exercises toward the end of Stage 01, but the course met its stated goals clearly."

Wanwisa Srisuk

Nonthaburi · Stage 02

"I commute from Nonthaburi so I did the course fully online. The hybrid option exists but I never felt disadvantaged by choosing remote. My biggest takeaway was the code review process — it pushed me to write cleaner, more considered code rather than just code that works."

PP

Pongpat Prasertchai

Bangkok · Stage 03

"The career sessions in Stage 03 were something I did not expect to find useful, but they were. Being walked through how to structure a technical portfolio and how to talk about ML work in a non-technical way was genuinely valuable. The deployment section was also practical in a way that other courses I've seen only gesture at."

Case Studies

Challenge

Thatchara, a logistics analyst in Bangkok, wanted to build a demand forecasting tool for her team. She had Excel skills but no programming background, and was concerned that AI courses would move too quickly to be useful.

Solution

She enrolled in Stage 01, completing it over eight weeks on evenings only. After the introductory stage, she moved into Stage 02 and used the capstone to build a regression model on her own logistics dataset.

Result

Twenty weeks after starting, Thatchara had a working model that her team now uses for monthly planning. She described the process as slower than she had hoped at times, but more durable than anything she had tried before.

"It is not a fast process. But what I have now actually works, and I understand why it works."

— Thatchara P., Logistics Analyst, Bangkok

Challenge

Jakrapong, a software developer with Python experience, had been learning machine learning through scattered online resources for over a year. His knowledge had gaps he could not identify, and he lacked the confidence to put ML work on his CV.

Solution

He skipped Stage 01 after discussing his background with a Synaptiq mentor, and enrolled directly in Stage 02. The code reviews surfaced specific gaps in his understanding of backpropagation and loss functions that he had been working around without realising it.

Result

After completing Stage 02, Jakrapong continued into Stage 03. He now holds a role as a junior ML engineer at a Bangkok software company. He cites the portfolio work as the primary factor in getting the interview.

"I thought I knew more than I did. The code reviews were uncomfortable but that was the point."

— Jakrapong C., ML Engineer, Bangkok
